TERROIR
Château Pech-Latt is located in Lagrasse in the south region of
Languedoc in France, in the heart of the wild Corbières
appellation. The whole vineyard is more than 135 hectares wide, in
a preserved environment of 400 hectares. The soils are mainly
clay-limestone, with stony hillsides.
Chateau Pech Latt is a pioneer in organic viticulture: the
Domaine has been using organic farming practices in the field and
in the cellar since 1991. Organic farming is certified by Ecocert.
Tamanova is the special cuvee of the Domaine, it is elaborated
using only the very best vines; it is a high-class Corbières, to be
enjoyed by all amateurs and connoisseurs.

WINEMAKING
The harvest at Château Pech Latt is exclusively done by hand,
with a strict sorting of the grapes in the field and right before the
fermentation. The winemaking is done using only natural and
traditional methods with natural yeasts.
WINE TASTING
Intense garnet red robe, with purple highlights, very clear and
brilliant.
In the nose, we find very powerful aromas of small red fruits
(blackberry, blackcurrant), with nice hints of spices, liquorice and
pepper.
This wine is well-structured, with a perfect balance. It’s is a very
elegant wine, with a nice long finish.
FOOD PAIRING
Ideal on a roast beef, feathered game meat, grilled red meats, or a
cheese platter.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE AND AGEING
To be enjoyed at 18°C / 64°F.
While very enjoyable in its youth, this wine will develop more
complex aromas over the next 5 to 10 years.
