Vosne-Romanée wines are produced just north of Nuits-Saint-Georges, on the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Echezeaux. The soils are limestone-clay, perfect for the growth of great red wines.
100% Pinot Noir
Manual harvest with grape sorting before the vinification and full destemming. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and maturation in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, including 30% of new barrels.
Brilliant red colour, with purple reflections. Well ripened small fruits aromas of strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant, with a touch of spice. Complex aromas like cherry-in-brandy, leather and fur after a few years of ageing. Very fine and distinguished in the mouth, this is Pinot Noir at its best. Rich with good tannins, a well-structured wine with a nice attack and a very lengthy finish.
This wine goes well with white meats in red sauce, roasted red meats, game and spicy foods. Also pairs well with strong flavored cheeses.

Wine to be served at 16°C / 60° F. To appreciate this wine to its fullest, it is best to mature it for 10 to 20 years.
