Pommard is one of the most renowned appellations of Burgundy. This magical name has been a synonym of fine wine since the Middle-ages. Pommard is a wine from the Côte de Beaune, where the vines used to be possessions of the Dukes of Burgundy. The well-drained soils, composed of claylimestone are perfect for the Pinot Noir.
