Macon wines are grown in the southern part of the Burgundy region. The soils are mainly limestone marl.
Manual harvest with grape sorting before the vinification. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the Gamay’s fruitiness.
Dark ruby red in colour, with purple highlights. Aromas of small red fruits, blackberry and spice. A well balanced wine in the mouth, with smooth tannins and a long finish
Pairs well with appetizers, roasted meats, soft cheeses.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE AND AGEING
Wine to be served slightly chilled at 13°C / 55° F. Ready to enjoy in its youth, this wine can also be kept for 2 to 3 years to develop more delicate aromas.
