This wine is produced mainly from vines in the South of Burgundy, in the Côte Chalonnaise, on a beautiful limestone-clay terroir, perfect for the Chardonnay grape. The vineyard is grown in organic farming.
Manual harvesting, grape sorting at the field and just before the fermentation. Natural winemaking, with partial maturation in oak barrels for 12 months.
Yellow gold brilliant robe, with beautiful green reflections. A nose bursting with fresh fruits aromas (citrus fruit, pear), with undertones of honey and white flowers. Very fresh and fruity, this wine shows great balance in the mouth, with a nice, long finish.
Great as an aperitif, on starters like Patés, pies or traditional French foods like escargots , or cuisse de grenouille. Also goes well with all fish dishes.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE AND AGEING
Wine to be served at 12°C / 53°F. This wine is ready to drink but will develop more sophisticated aromas after an ageing of 2 years.
